1.
the days are long feelings fierce all the wrongs all sincere oh all sincere   take our time taking shape when fruits are ripe it's flesh we taste  oh flesh we taste not before, not too late, not at all worth the wait   a crack of light a path opaque through longing trees with roots like snakes oh roots like snakes   not before, not too late, not at all worth the wait
2.
Stalling Out 04:27
see a little light appear in your eyes breathe a little light up here it’s so high all the days all mistakes all the days oh all mistakes and i keep falling down try to keep hold fight against control let the past go freeze a little life up here in your mind squeeze a little life in ear evade time all the days all mistakes all the days oh all mistakes and i keep stalling out try to keep hold fight against control let the past go and i keep falling down and i keep stalling out and i keep falling down and i keep stalling out
3.
Deeper Space 03:45
i wonder what kind of spell have you been under as if the deepest plunder of your mind would yield fortunes of time and i'd struggle to climb my way out   i fail to grasp the gravity of this tale as if i'd be labelled a fool for breaking the rules confounding the tools drafted long, long ago   foraging forlorn into deeper space it's a similar fight but a difference of plight for the final bell will ring the final bell will ring   and i fail to grasp the gravity of this tale as if i'd be labelled a fool for breaking the rules confounding the tools drafted long, long ago i wonder i wonder what kind of spell have you been under as if the deepest plunder of your mind

kaleidoscopes in your eyes they're only leaves in the skies poly-streaming effects they only mask your future regrets   believe you're more than free immortal dreams immortal dreams   the next space in the line can be whatever you like feel it coarse through your veins so calming but yet oddly strange   believe you're more than free immortal dreams immortal dreams   close to a break to a taste too afraid too awake to dream   the light touches you face with a warmth you cannot erase a fate unfolding in time and a mountain too high to climb
5.
Goodbye 04:29
goodbye is just another way to fly from flames still concealed from angry swollen eyes   a free-fall affection is on the wing escaping your detection escape from everything   it's storming here tonight let's watch the water rise while floods form all around put your mind in the skies   there's nothing left to save save yourself escaping what you've made escape from hell   time to fly say goodbye

about

Kaleidoscopes is an Ep that tries to dive a little deeper than songs written about emotions that sit on the surface of our lives. Instead they focus on our motives and drives and consternations. What do you want out of life? How are you willing to act to get there? How do you deal with obstacles and false starts?

These questions help define who we are and who we become. The answers to them change as we grow and interact with our lives and the people in them. Often, it is not something we think about, and if we do, what we want and how we feel can be indecipherable to ourselves.

It is in the effort to reconcile the tea leaves of our understanding that Kaleidoscopes and Aura Beta came to be. Happy listening.
